This is one of my favorite images for several reasons. First, the large scale picture of an extraordinarily filling breakfast improves the neighborhood by providing a glimpse of oppulance. Secondly, the advertisment mixes visual an verbal representaions of ideas creating a stronger experience of the whole. Just take a minute and look at the image. The thing that stands out the most is the black and white writing. Those words depict distinct tastes of sweetness and heat. Catching attention with those simple words pushes the observer to interpret the images through those concepts. Then the food on the plate invites more general inquiry. The changing scale of the breakfast items challenges the views to gauge the intensity of hunger, while inviting neighbors into the restaurant.
