Jennie Buttolph Rayburn served as the registrar for the D.A.R. in Illinois in the early 20th century. In her journals she says reads newspapers and conducts a lively correspondence. She addressed one issue using these sources for at least ten years. I believe she was trying to find a “Little” link to an ancestor who immigrated on the Mayflower. To get to know my great grandmother,I took up this unresolved problem.
